Red Hawk Casino opened to the public on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 7 p.m. Red Hawk Casino is conveniently located off of the new Red Hawk Parkway exit on Highway 50, just 30 minutes east of Sacramento.

Red Hawk Casino will feature approximately 2,000 Class III slot machines, 75 table games, six restaurants, four bars, more than 3,000 lighted and covered parking spaces, and a gift shop featuring unique merchandise. Red Hawk Casino will also include an entire level of smoke-free gaming and dining. The Shingle Springs Tribal Gaming Authority estimates that the casino will generate approximately 2,000 jobs.

Red Hawk Casino's signature restaurant is Henry's Steakhouse, which exemplifies dining at its finest. Henry's will feature Prime, Natural and Wagyu Steaks, local seafood, lamb and poultry, with 60 wines by the glass and more than 400 selections by the bottle. Wines at Henry's have been carefully selected from El Dorado, Napa and Sonoma Counties, along with wines from around the world.
Other restaurants at Red Hawk Casino include Wai Sushi and Seafood, a contemporary Asian-themed restaurant with an eclectic blend of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese dishes; the Koto Grille, a casual, rustic grill offering American and Mexican foods with an extensive beer list; the Waterfall Buffet with live-action cooking stations and a vast selection of fresh foods; and the Two Rivers Cafe for those in need of a quick snack or coffee break.

In addition to its six restaurants, Red Hawk Casino will feature four entertainment bars including Mahogany, an elegant bar serving local wines and specialty spirits in an intimate atmosphere, and the Stage Bar which will present live music on a nightly basis. Sports fans will enjoy the Sports Bar and high-rollers can take advantage of the High-Limits Bar.
Red Hawk Casino will also include an entire level of smoke-free gaming and dining. The smoke-free lower-level includes cutting-edge progressive games, Henry's, the Waterfall Buffet and Koto Grille.
Red Hawk Traders, the official gift shop for Red Hawk Casino, will feature apparel with the Red Hawk Casino logo including hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts, jewelry and artwork. Basic sundries including snacks, candy and books will also be available.
