Couple held on pot charges at campground
LISBON - A California couple was arrested Monday night on drug trafficking charges at an Elkrun Township campground after fellow campers called police about marijuana being smoked. MORE...
I for one cannot believe that these types of underhanded dealings are able to go on in our country. The fact that this Placerville couple has been set up from the beginning is simple to see. Could the local officials have tipped off the DEA seeing that it took non-less than five departments to deal with a camper call about some campground marijuana smoking going on. Smells a bit like the SKUNK to me.
I for one would like to hear the 911 call on this one. "GASP - GASP - CAUGH, there are mean people out here throwing Kilo's and Kilo's of marijuana cigerets I mean REEFER! into their campsite fire next door and its making me and my poor family - CAUGH - want to eat, please save us"
Thank goodness all the agencies could find the time and resources that must have been needed to track these hardened criminals down. I guess in any other state outside California 2 Kilo's means send the national gard.
